Sufferers of fibromyalgia describe the pain as a constant, chronic impairment that troubles them on a daily basis. In 2008, a study was published in the Journal of Neuroscience which stated that those who suffer from chronic pain can represent signs and symptoms of insomnia and depression. Anxiety is another factor that many sufferers deal with. It is believed that the anxious feelings arise from the fact that the pain from fibromyalgia is never ending and incurable.
